Welcome to the Parent Place, a place just for parents with advice, views and discussions by other parents. We aim to meet the needs of all parents; mothers, fathers, grandparents, foster parents, step parents and even those who aren't parents...yet.
With regular updates on a variety of topics, special features and reviews written solely by other parents, our aim is not to befuddle you with parenting dos and don't, but to give practical advice on the strategies that have worked for us and our contributing parents. Parenting is not a science, but an individual learning curve and we all have to find and practice strategies that are right for us and our children. The best advice is listen to all advice, try a few and pick the ones that work best with your children.
